The History of Big Horn Supply
Big Horn Supply was started in 2017 in the garage of a house rented by Noah and Kasi Tramel in Houston, Texas. Noah and Kasi would personally deliver orders in the back of Kasi’s SUV to make sure the customers got what they needed as soon as possible. Kasi covered the north side of Houston and Noah covered the south side. That commitment and hustle is part of the fabric of Big Horn Supply today.
In November of 2018, Noah and Kasi moved the company to Midland, Texas and rented a small office and warehouse with a grand total of 2,000 square feet and had three employees, including Noah and Kasi. In March of 2020, Noah and Kasi acquired a facility and property on the frontage road of I-20 in Midland but could only afford the purchase by selling part of the assets after the purchase. In the deal of the century, they traded the original I-20 facility for the construction of a new, bigger facility on the adjacent property. This facility now serves as the Midland branch and corporate headquarters of the company and is currently being expanded. In six short years, Big Horn Supply has grown from a two-car garage to more than 43,000 square feet of warehouse space across four locations and three states. The best is yet to come!
Big Horn Supply now has locations in Carlsbad (NM), Midland (TX), Houston (TX) and Lake Charles (LA) and had 35 employees as of the end of 2023.
It has taken a large amount of hard work, grit and faith for Big Horn Supply to survive and grow to what it is today. Our Big Horn Supply family is truly blessed with the best customers and support from our community!
